I throw a range of clean wares on a traditional kick wheel, with an emphasis on form. My colours are inspired by weatherworn coastal palettes: the depth and subtlety in the change of hues between land, sea and horizon.
I threw my first pot aged ten with Dartington Potters. I studied Ceramics at Farnham Art College, found my Qi with a Japanese potter and taught for over ten years. After years of hand building, last year I made the decision to set up my own pottery studio and came back to the peace and simplicity of throwing at the wheel.
My range of work is represented in the Gallery. I am currently excited to be developing an emerging range of teapots and drinking vessels; with references to both Western and Eastern rituals and practice.
To buy my work please contact me via email, facebook messenger or phone. I hold some stock, but work mainly from commission. I currently offer a 4-6 week service and require a 20% deposit upfront.
